About SIAP SIAGA
SIAP SIAGA is the Australia – Indonesia Partnership in Disaster Risk Management that was launched in November 2019. It is a five-year, $25 million investment program that will be delivered from 2019 to 2024. The program aims to improve Indonesia’s ability to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disaster. SIAP SIAGA also has a regional focus, which is to strengthen the cooperation between Australia and Indonesia on regional humanitarian issues. Funded by the Australian Government, SIAP SIAGA is implemented by Palladium. The program responds to Government of Indonesia’s (GoI) and Government of Australia’s (GoA) development priorities. SIAP SIAGA supports GoI’s priorities under the Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN 2019-2024), Indonesia’s Disaster Management Master Plan (2015-2045), and BNPB Strategy on Disaster Management.
