The Junior Section of the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SIB) was established in November 2020 to coordinate activities within the SIB and foster a network among its young members (up to 35–40 years old), including students, PhD candidates, and postdocs. The Junior Section is actively involved in organizing events aimed at enhancing knowledge in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology. Moreover, it supports young individuals who are interested in exploring and starting a career in academic research.
