For College Students By College Students Founded by undergraduate Georgia Tech students Evan Jones and Noland Smith in Spring of 2012, Sideways Promotions is an event and marketing company for college students in Atlanta as well as a video production and photography company. The name “Sideways” comes from the Georgia Tech tradition Sideways the dog, a white female terrier adopted by the Georgia Tech community in the mid-40s (hence our mascot).
