OUR MISSION:
SIDS America is a national, faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides financial and emotional support to help families find hope and healing beyond the loss of a child to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and promotes SIDS safety practices to prevent more tragic deaths.
WHAT WE DO:
SIDS America offers an array of support and services for families who have lost a baby to SIDS, including:
- Grief support and counseling references
- Connecting families with other families who have suffered the death of a child to SIDS
- Guidance for family and friends of the bereaved
- Help with funeral/burial costs for the child
- Help with hospital/medical bills associated with the child’s death
- Furthering research to prevent more deaths from SIDS
- SIDS case information collection and database building to assist researchers
SIDS America is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible as allowable by law.
