SASMIRA has always focused on strengthening the textile industry- a strong arm of Indian economy, by providing trained and skilled manpower. Sasmira’s Institute of Design and Textile (SIDT) was formally established in July 2021 to focus on Designing and Merchandising aspect of the Textile Industry. Before the establishment of SIDT, this objective was served through Sasmira’s Education and Training Program (SETP). SIDT, with its broader vision, aims to encompass all the areas in Designing like Jewellery Designing, Interior Designing, Graphic Designing, etc. and be a benchmark for Designing Institutes. With its committed and qualified team, SIDT would expand its horizons and venture into other areas of designing over the next decade.

Bachelor of Design is a 3 year degree program in collaboration with University of Mumbai-GICED
Post Graduate Diploma in Apparel Merchandising (PGDAM):
PG diploma in Apparel Merchandising is a 2 year full time PG program in collaboration with the University of Mumbai’s- GICED.
International Programs:
Masters Diploma Programs in Fashion Design and Fashion Management:
SIDT offers 1 year Masters Diploma in Fashion Design and Masters Diploma in Fashion Management in collaboration with Istituto Italiano Design (IID)- a renowned Italian Design Institute.
