"QU Economic Development" is powered by Qatar University Holding Company (QU Holding) as an independent commercial arm company owned by QU, and the Office of Strategic Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Economic Development (SIEED Office) @ QU President Office, as a back-end support for QU Holding and bridge with the QU. QU Holding is strategically steered by a Board of Directors composed of senior business & goverment executives and QU senior executives, that also strategically steers related SIEED Office back-end support activities.
We particularly focus on nurturing the development of knowledge and innovation driven economic outcomes from QU (such as deep tech. startups, advanced innovation and knowledge consultancy services, creative industries and creative economy ventures, etc.) through a series of innovation & entrepreneurship support programs and a unique contextual and holistic innovation ecosystem design methodologies.
