COST Action CA23156 - European Action on SIGMA-1R is a European research network focused on unraveling the role of the sigma-1 receptor (SIGMA-1R) in health and disease. Our interdisciplinary collaboration brings together experts in neuroscience, endocrinology, pharmacology, and molecular biology to explore SIGMA-1R’s role in neurodegeneration, mitochondrial function, and cellular stress responses.
Funded by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology), we promote knowledge exchange, training, and interdisciplinary collaborations across Europe and beyond.
