Sindh Integrated Health & Population Program

Sindh Integrated Health and Population Program (SIHPP) is a trailblazing initiative funded by the World Bank, Islamic Development Bank, and the Government of Sindh. The program is committed to advancing Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health, Nutrition, and Family Planning (RMNCAHN and FP) within diverse communities of Sindh Province. Its core mission is grounded in the understanding that promoting the well-being of women, children, and adolescents is pivotal to advancing societal progress. The values and goals of the program are closely aligned with the vision of the Government of Sindh. The program is launched with the belief that RMNCAHN and FP services are indispensable for nurturing healthy populations, and to ensure that these crucial aspects of healthcare are not overlooked, as neglecting them can impede broader development efforts. This program envisions a population thriving with health, knowledge, and empowerment. It aims to empower women and families with both, the information and enabling ecosystem of facilities and health workers they need to make decisions about reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child, adolescent health, and nutrition. The mission of this program is to significantly expand free, high-quality Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child, Adolescent Health, and Nutrition services in underserved communities, aiming to empower women and improve their well-being. This involves enhancing healthcare infrastructure, engaging and training health workers, fostering community partnerships, advocating for supportive policies, and delivering a comprehensive range of services without financial barriers.
