Sikh Students Association

The Sikh Students Association (SSA) at the University of Guelph is a student-led organization that aims to create a welcoming and inclusive community for students of the Sikh faith or those interested in Sikhism. The club provides opportunities for members to learn about Sikh history, culture, and values through events, discussions, and guest speakers. The SSA is dedicated to promoting Sikh values such as seva (selfless service), simran (meditation), and sangat (community) through various activities and initiatives. The club also celebrates important Sikh festivals and occasions, such as Vaisakhi, Guru Nanak Jayanti,and Turban Day. In addition to promoting Sikhism, SSA encourages members to engage in social justice and community outreach activities. The club organizes fundraisers and volunteering events to support local charities and causes. The SSA also collaborates with other student groups to create a diverse and inclusive campus community.
