Sikh Women's Aid

We are a community based organisation set up by women from the Sikh community from across England. Our founding team has over 40 years supporting victims across various settings in the VAWG and DV sector The mission of Sikh Women’s Aid is to act as a stimulus to develop lasting positive change by actively challenging harmful belief systems and practices that act as the root cause of all forms of abuse within the Sikh and Panjabi community. Our first ever publication 'From Her, Kings are Born, provides never before insights into the prevalence and impact of domestic and sexual violence in the Sikh and Panjabi Community.
