Silent Living

All of our houses started as our family’s homes, and they’re now open to whoever wants to experience them. They are part of our story and echo the importance of feeling at home. Along the way, we realized that we are not alone in the search for happiness and fulfilment, and thus it felt right to share our values and visions with everyone else - one house at a time. By taking the time to hear each of our guests’ experiences, we found our own direction and path to realize our vision. Through our visitors’ empirical reflections, we finally understand the necessary ingredients to pursue Silent Living: Home, Memory, Local, Simplicity, Family, Nature, Material, Atmosphere. Santa Clara 1728 (6 suites) Like in all the houses, the renovation was carried out under the guidance of our good friend Manuel Aires Mateus. Not only to ensure we respected the original heritage of the 18th-century building but to also help add serenity and comfort through the purity that defines his type of architecture. Ceia - Restaurant We want to offer you a long-standing memory of joy, comfort and friendship, where we can share our own memories and stories with you, through our food. The dinner takes place around one shared table, which sits fourteen guests. Casa no Tempo (House - 4 bedrooms) Alentejo is well known for its unique and peaceful landscapes of vast golden plains, where olive trees and oak trees provide the only shade. The farm elevates nature’s most precious elements. Casas na Areia (House - 4 bedrooms) The thatched walls and the sand floor revive the memory of the old fishermen's houses, while the minimalism of contemporary architecture highlights the space's simplicity. Cabanas no Rio (Hut - 1 bedroom) We have made cabanas no rio free from all superfluous objects, thus strengthening the feeling of being part of something larger than the challenges of everyday life. Two small huts face the vastness of sado river, and allow all the outside elements in through its doors.
