The Silicon Valley Microfinance Network (SVMN) is the Bay Area's premier microfinance membership organization, providing high quality programming to a community of more than 1,500 microfinance practitioners, investors and enthusiasts. SVMN is a non-‐profit organization dedicated to increasing the impact of domestic and international microfinance by providing educational, networking and engagement opportunities to its members.
The mission of SVMN is to reduce global poverty by leveraging the unique core competencies of the Bay area in the field of microfinance. SVMN’s programming is focused on arming the Bay Area community with the knowledge, experience and contacts necessary to engage in and make a tangible impact on the microfinance industry.
