Silk Takuyo

Every painted design begins in my studio in Kauai. The scarves and shawls under the Hand-Painted tab are literally wearable artwork—each piece is hand-painted by me and therefore is truly one of a kind. The Silk Takuyo clothing (sheer kimono top, kimono robes, leggings, and more to come) and accessories (makeup bags, headbands, and origami tote) begin with my original artwork and then is printed onto a high-quality material and produced by a custom shop under my supervision.
