In the 1980’s, the seeds of the APL group were planted in the tea district of Sylhet, Sreemongol. Those seeds have grown to two major gardens over time with love and care from a family highly passionate about tea. The Amtali Tea Estate and Jointya Hills Tea Estate, are the two gardens from which sprouts Siloti. It is an intimately grown garden with a heart big enough to take on the world market. APL has been active in the tea auction since the 1990s and has served innumerable cups of tea through other tea brands of Bangladesh. Today, APL is in the process of introducing new product lines which will take the brand into international cups. With expansion strategy in place for the markets of USA, Mexico, Canada and UK, it hopes to begin global operations by the end of 2020.
