Silver Hawk Vineyards is located in Paso Robles, California - the heart of the Central Coast wine region. After selling his original winery in Napa, Christopher Hoskins, our founder, searched for a region that would continue his legacy of great wines and unique destinations. He chose Paso Robles for the verdant soil, coastal location, and perfect weather for growing wine grapes. In 2006, Chris built and opened his first Paso winery and is developing a series of locations at Winery Row. Developed in our original winery, our premium wines are handcrafted in small batches with artistry, skill, and attention to detail. Our estate-grown vineyards are harvested by hand, and our wines are aged to perfection using the highest quality oak. We focus on producing award-winning Bordeaux and Rhone varietals. We appeal to connoisseurs who pride themselves on collecting exquisite hand-crafted wines. We believe great wine can only be achieved in the vineyard and practice superior winemaking techniques such as hand-sorting, extended barrel-aging and optimal temperature controls. Through this exhaustive approach, we develop wines that are elite, complex, approachable, and international award winners. In 2020, Marin Wolgamott came aboard as our head winemaker. With an extensive experience in Bordeaux and Rhone style winemaking, Marin has developed an impressive selection of offerings.
