Silver Lining

Silver Lining is the UK’s first dedicated orange and skin contact wine bar and shop based in Hackney, East London. We are a shop by day, selling a range of orange and skin contact wines alongside great coffee and a bar by night pouring wine, mixing cocktails and serving delicious French bar snacks. Our passion is to showcase the amazing range of natural, skin contact wines from small independent producers, growers and winemakers from around the world. Silver Lining was founded by husband and wife team Alistair and Sarah Maddox; who’s love for good food and great wine led them to open ‘Every Cloud’ cocktail bar and Silver Lining wine bar and shop on Morning Lane. These cosy neighbourhood spots are just down the road from where Alistair grew up; where Sarah first lived after moving to London from Australia and just across the park from where they first met working on Broadway Market.
