With over a decade of experience organizing club & theater concerts, and producing/curating music and art festivals, Silver Wrapper has established its brand as a fan & artist first company. Since its inception in May of 2000, inspired by the New Orleans funk & jazz scene, Silver Wrapper has evolved into an organization and thriving community of music loving fans. Though rooted in Chicago, Silver Wrapper produces events spanning coast to coast. Representing diverse musical genres such as Rock, Funk, Jam, Jazz, Indie, Electronic/EDM/Dance, Reggae, Bluegrass, Americana/Folk and everything that falls in between, Silver Wrapper prides itself on offering good vibes and the joys of music for everyone. As an independent concert promoter, Silver Wrapper has produced successful shows in various sized rooms in Chicago including: Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, Aragon Ballroom, The Riviera Theatre, House of Blues, Double Door, Logan Square Auditorium, Bottom Lounge, Congress Theater, Park West, The Vic Theatre, Abbey Pub, Martyrs’, Sonotheque, Metro, Schubas, and Lincoln Hall. Silver Wrapper expanded its portfolio into the club business in 2013 as well, opening Concord Music Hall, a 1450 capacity music venue in Chicago, IL with fellow independent promoters. In addition to club shows, Silver Wrapper has extensive experience in producing outdoor festivals including North Coast Music Festival and Suwannee Hulaween, as well as popular Chicago street festivals including Wicker Park Fest, Boulevard Fest, Taste of Randolph and Live on Lincoln. Silver Wrapper has also been one of the primary producers of the indoor multi-venue multi-week Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival since 2009. In 2017, Silver Wrapper launched the destination event Island of Light, taking place in Puerto Rico. Silver Wrapper also gives backs to the communities we work in, wherever possible through donation or volunteer work. Organizations include: The Greater Chicago Food Depository, The Illinois Latino Cultural Center, The Chicago Park District, Arts of Life, New Orleans Musician Fund, Chicago Cultural Center and many more.
