Silverdale School is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status, in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It opened in 1957 as a Secondary Modern school, and became a comprehensive school in 1969. I
t is part of Chorus Education Trust (formerly known as Silverdale Multi-Academy Trust) and was named 'Top State School of the North' by the Sunday Times in 2017. In 2017 its Sixth Form achieved the best results of all state schools and colleges in Sheffield.
