SilverKite helps build and strengthen communities by connecting all generations of people together through our innovative arts-based programs and services. Through our work, SilverKite strives to make the world more joyful, less lonely, and more community-oriented, one connection at a time. SilverKite Community Arts, LLC develops and facilitates life changing intergenerational arts programs and arts programming for older adults. Using life stories as the source for art-making, SilverKite's programs encourage participants to share their stories and connect with themselves and each other, eliminating loneliness, bridging generational gaps, boosting self-esteem, and deepening relationships. We believe building personal relationships through the arts strengthens communities, decreases bullying and violence, and sparks positive change in their world.
