SilverSource is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit agency providing emergency financial assistance, counseling and information to the older adult population in Lower Fairfield County. Founded in 1908, and deeply rooted in the community, our organization aims to improve the quality of life of older adults by responding to the wide-ranging challenges they face. MISSION: SilverSource advances the dignity, independence and quality of life of older adults by providing guidance for families and supportive services to those who are in need, by engaging in community partnerships and by advocating for sound public policies. Our vision is a society that ensures older adults have the resources to live independent, healthy and fulfilled lives.
