SIMAD S.p.A. was founded in 1971 and operates in the Defence, Secutiry and Public Order sectors. Constant and in-depth studies led the company to play an important role in producing smoke, illuminating and irritant grenades/charges to be employed by hand or by a launcher, 12-gauge special cartridges, 37/38 mm and 40 mm cartridges with special non-lethal anti-riot, anti-crime and anti-sabotage ammunition. Our products are available in both training and operational versions. SIMAD also produces illuminating smoke signaling devices for Navy surface and submarine uses. Currently, the company has the following certifications ISO 9001:2015 and NATO AQAP-2110.
