Simchik Planning & Development is an urban/transportation planning and real estate redevelopment advisory services firm that manages our clients’ projects throughout their entire lifecycle to shape the highest and best use of the built form. Simchik Planning & Development opened in 2012 after recognizing an opportunity in the real estate industry. Planning firms had either downsized or were on hiring freezes because of the economic downturn, but the work still needed to be completed on time and on budget. Hired on a project basis, we worked remotely or in our clients’ offices to ensure that the workload was managed efficiently. We have built a reputation with our breath of expertise and ability to connect the dots for clients where we are now contacted directly by real estate development firms to assist with urban planning, transportation planning, market feasibility and public engagement. Simchik Planning & Development has undertaken projects for both public and private sector clients. We have worked on projects in New England, Southeast Michigan and Australia. This knowledge of how planning, redevelopment and real estate finance needs differ for varying clients and locations allows us to think outside the box and apply innovative ideas when solving problems.
