SIMocean is a student-led environmental initiative from the University of St. Gallen, committed to protecting marine ecosystems and vulnerable coastal communities by addressing the global issue of plastic pollution. Founded in 2015, SIMocean continues to grow with a mission to clean global waters and raise awareness about the plastic pollution through partnerships, community engagement, and sustainable innovation.
Our 3 Levers:
1) Action: Hands-on support for CLEAR RIVERS, including their circular workshop and litter trap implementation.
2) Fundraising: Mobilizing resources to support both our operations and CLEAR RIVERS’ long-term impact.
3) Outreach & Awareness: Creating content strategies and community engagement campaigns to promote plastic-free waters.
