The Simon Data Analytics Club (SDAC) unites MS and MBA students with a passion for analytics and data visualizations. In addition to providing a forum for knowledge sharing, the club acts as a platform for students to interact with faculty and companies, and offer training in various programming languages and big data platforms. The club seeks to enhance student’s understanding of the role analytics plays in business leaders’ enterprises and the challenges their businesses face. Members will participate in forums with business leaders, travel for company treks, and hone programming and design skills.
OUR MISSION
Prepare students to confidently communicate enterprise solutions grounded in sophisticated analytical and visualization methods and facilitate the learning of data analytics for the entire Simon community. Our mission focuses on:
- Being the premier internal organization for conducting analytics related events.
- Enhance training and impart knowledge of business and data analytics by conducting training sessions, case competitions and providing networking opportunities.
- Building an active community of students and faculty members that are passionate about data analytics.
We believe that accomplishing our mission will help Simon achieve a reputation as a prestigious analytics-based business program.
