Simonds Saw LLC (now a division of The File Works LLC) began as a division of Simonds International Inc., one of the world’s oldest cutting tool manufacturers established in Fitchburg Massachusetts in 1832 and dedicated to producing best in class cutting technologies used in the processing of wood, wood fibers, and metals. In 2014 the Simonds metal cutting business became a standalone company and Simonds Saw LLC was born, continuing to manufacture and supply one of the broadest and most trusted lines of metal cutting band saw blades and Industrial Hand Files found anywhere in the world.
