It is estimated that 30% of school energy cost is wasted or inefficiently used. Reducing waste in energy spending means more money for teacher salaries, textbooks and computers. Saving energy every day, and educating children in a practical way giving them life-long key skills in eco responsibilities to be the Eco Champions of the future, has more impact when using real-time data from your own school. Our product combines pro-active energy management strategies (email alerts, monthly reports) with a strong educational platform (lesson plans, scheme of work, interactive educational websites) to allow for behavioural change in students from energy wasters to energy managers. We have 2 main objectives: 1. Give schools the chance to save money on their bills and save teachers valuable planning time. 2. Give students the opportunity to be a positive force in changing our attitudes to energy waste and the environment.
