In 2015, Drs. Schneidereith and Farina were two of twenty selected for the National League for Nursing’s Leadership Development Program for Simulation Educators. During that year, they also connected with national and international colleagues who shared the issues that they were facing in healthcare education. Recognizing the growing need for support of simulation leadership, faculty, and staff, they established SIMPL Simulation, LLC in 2017. With over 50 years of combined simulation and nursing education experience between them, these consultants have educated prelicensure and graduate nursing faculty, authored and facilitated simulation experiences, collaborated with architectural design and development teams, and created improvement plans to aid in creating a safer healthcare workforce.
