I believe that good nutrition is the fundamental foundation for optimal health, and that food is a greatly under-used medicine.
Having struggled severely with IBD and gut inflammation my whole adult life, I was then diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder following the pregnancy of my first child. For years I tried to address and manage my condition with conventional medicine, before deciding to take responsibility for my own health and turning my focus to healing through nutrition.
Since then I have developed a passion for the power of food and the important role it has to play in the natural prevention and resolution of diseases and health problems. I have studied to become a qualified Nutritional Therapist and Weight Management Consultant with a highly reputed UK-based institution - fully endorsed and accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN).
I am also in the process of qualifying to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN).
With Nourish Naturally, it is my goal to educate and empower my clients to make better health choices for themselves, and their families. As a busy working mother myself, my approach is geared towards people who need to balance busy lives and improve their health, feel energized, lose weight and improve their sense of wellbeing.
