Sims Squared

Sims Squared Consulting is a private organization dedicated to improving students’ educational experiences and outcomes by providing school communities with professional development, coaching, and instructional resources to create sustainable culturally and linguistically responsive spaces. We also work with public and private organizations to improve workplace climate and cultivate inclusive environments for diverse work forces. Our Vision We will collaborate with communities to create inclusive spaces that value and respect diversity and view cultural capital from an asset perspective; and consciously and purposefully use culturally relevant pedagogy to co-construct learning with students. Our Mission We strive to provide workshops, programs, professional development, and coaching personalized to meet the individual needs of each community, while empowering school settings to successfully incorporate the cultural knowledge, experiences, and frames of reference of ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse students. We aim to make learning more relevant, effective, and equitable rather than subtractive. We do this by providing individualized support and resources after assessing needs.
