At the Simulation and Human Factors Centre MFT, we offer multi-disciplinary healthcare simulation and training to both MFT colleagues and external users nationwide. Simulation-based education plays a crucial role in healthcare training, offering a realistic and risk-free environment where professionals can hone their skills and improve patient outcomes. This method enhances clinical competence, boosts confidence, and promotes effective teamwork. By immersing practitioners in lifelike scenarios, simulation training helps bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, ultimately leading to safer and more efficient patient care. We can provide: 2 SIMULAITON ROOMS - The facility includes distinct simulation suites equipped with audio and video feedback capabilities. Each suite can be configured for various environments, such as Accident and Emergency (A&E), surgical theatres, community settings, and ward areas. Additionally, there are two debrief rooms that also feature audio and video feedback functionalities. LARGE CONTROL AREA - A control area with performance coding capabilities and facilities for each simulation room. We have audio loop equipment to ensure faculty can hear what is happening in each simulation room. EXPERIENCED SIMUALTION TEAM- Our experienced faculty not only deliver high-quality simulation training but also contribute significantly to the development of educational materials. They provide technical support to ensure the smooth running of all sessions and have the capability to manage both national and international courses. Their expertise enables them to tailor training programs to meet the diverse needs of healthcare professionals, ensuring that each participant gains the maximum benefit from their learning experience.
