The Sinako We Can project is an empowerment program for passionate aspiring future legal practitioners and social justice advocates that aims to build the confidence of these aspiring legal professionals from disadvantaged and marginalized backgrounds and make their aspirations realizable. Sinako in isiXhosa means we can. Thus, Sinako as a name serves to literally and symbolically assert and affirm the concerned young peoples that they truly can. That their dreams are valid notwithstanding the context of their impoverished socio-economic realities. The young people for which the project has catered are visionary, vibrant and faithful to the task of bettering their lives and helping other young people from their community to transform their lives.
