SINFA is a for-profit social enterprise that addresses socio-development needs of local communities with an overall objective of providing employment and income generating services in the rural communities across Africa through affordable and sustainable access to high speed Internet.
Since inception, SINFA has rolled out services that directly and indirectly provide employment opportunities in the area of Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) as well as agricultural information access through a commodity resource platform. The company currently runs an extensive Wi-Fi Network of 20 centers in the districts of Adjumani, Amuru, Gulu, Moyo and Nwoya. Activities are in place to extend 30 more of such centers in the districts of Agago, Kitgum, Lamwo and Pader; and furthermore an aggressive expansion plan to other regions and countries is in the pipeline.
Besides employment, our centers provide income generating and skills development services like free ICT training, education and mobile money.
Regarding BPO, SINFA has the capacity to handle projects from both local and international markets; particularly in the international space, we handled diverse engagements with clients from the American and European markets
