It is true, no-one can ever teach confidence. That is because confidence comes from within, it can't be achieved from following the scripts of what someone says. To be intrinsically motivated is easiest way to understand. At mathlab, we are a platform for students to build their foundation for mathematics, more importantly their confidence. Exercises are based on the student's mathematics competence. One may ask, how does completing exercises help with confidence? It is as simple as it sounds, when students build their foundation, they are slowly learning parts of themselves. This tells them that they are capable of that much, and the more they complete with an open-mind, the better their confidence.
