Getting back to older days during the partition time Lte Gyan Singh Sehgal, displaced from Lahore and reached to a city called Dehradun A VALLEY IN THE FOOTHILLS OF HIMALYAS. An Optimistic man began his journey again from scratch ,settled down and started earning bread and butter for his family. During that time/In Pursuit of his journey he tried many businesses but struggle was part of his course. He always had a dream of having a business where he can serve society at he same time. Time and condition was not in his favour but he was wise enough to share his experience which he know could add an advantage for his Sons pursuit in future. Then came the Year 1970,Two brothers Inder Singh Sehgal and Jasbir Singh Sehgal Owning The Dream of his father, started their food business together with the intent of Serving quality food at affordable price. Main challenge was “COST TO PEOPLE” but they took the challenge and started with Rajma Chawla counter near Railway Station.Rajma Chawla and kadi Chawla served with green mint chutney and fried chilies is quite famous eatery till today in Dehradun. It is one of the oldest and authentic food counter in the town. The blend of spices used in cooking under low flame brings the authentic taste one can imagine about. People from diversified region and status come and love the freshness of recipe and spices served till date. Continuing that dream of serving people ,On 5 January 2013 SINGH DARBAR happened to us, the plan of starting a own dine in Restaurant in Dehradun. This Time the responsibility was again on the shoulders of two brothers Jagjeet Singh Sehgal and Jaspreet Singh Sehgal son of Jasbir Singh Sehgal. The pioneer ship that we bring into restaurant line is shear amalgamation of Energy and Experience both. Its always a challenge owning a restaurant, but for us we already knew the game plan. Its was just the precedence footsteps of former generation that needs to be followed. Here we are ,Its been almost 5 years to our brand “SINGH DARBAR” growing every quarter. The brand which is not built in a day, took decades of hard work ,Patience and commitment and the “VISION OF SERVING PEOPLE". Its the people who have trusted us on the basis of Food Quality ,Price and Satisfaction. People of every age can relate themselves to this brand whether its about the “Journey “or “Emotions In Cooked Food”. We provide you one of the cheapest thali of India.
