Single Barrel Cigar Co was founded in 2021 with the idea to bring premium tobacco to market with a concept of zero consistency. While this may sound crazy, this concept was brought to fruition by founders Matt Schnell and Nick Battaglia’s love for single barrel bourbons. Matt and Nick set out to come up with a proprietary blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran tobacco for an exceptional level of quality you only get from high end cigar manufactures. What helps make Single Barrel Cigars different is our aging and packaging process. We start out by ageing our cigars in freshly dumped premium bourbon barrels for 8 to 10 weeks. This creates an all-natural infusion process into the tobacco that gives our cigars a subtle but smooth finish with notes of sweet bourbon. No batch is quite alike as we use many different bourbon barrels and due to climate and humidity no two batches come out the same just as you find your single barrel bourbons. We then package each cigar in glass tubos with just a pinch of bourbon barrel char for continued ageing. After experimenting with many different blends from around several different private family farms. Matt and Nick settled on the blend you can now find at many cigar and liquor store retailers. We believe this is one of the finest and most unique smoking experiences you will find in the market today. Our Single Barrel Cigars all use 100% long leaf filler, finest Nicaraguan binder to help hold in and protect our premium blend, we currently offer a Connecticut wrapper for a softer more subtle experience and for the bolder cigar smoking experience we offer Habano wrapper.
