The Single Parent Advisory Network ("SPAN") is an organization focused on helping single parents get access to personal finance resources. In the US, nearly 3 in 10 single mothers are living in poverty (3 times higher than married parents), and our goal is to help single parents navigate an increasingly complex personal finance environment.
SPAN partners with financial advisors and coaches with a wide variety of expertise and experience. With the vast personal finance knowledge of our network we are able to accomplish our core goals of 1) helping single parents navigate the navigate the financial challenges they may be facing; 2) providing single parents with access to various personal finance experts and resources in order to help inform their decision-making process; and 3) offering a place where parents can have any personal finance questions they have answered on an anonymous basis.
