Single Moms Indonesia

Sometimes referred to as SMI, we are a support group specifically created for Indonesian single mothers. Founded in 2014, the group has developed into a prominent community providing not only support but also information about single motherhood, lifestyle, education, and parenting issues. Currently, SMI has over 11,000 members spread across Indonesia and abroad. SMI provides a safe haven free from judgment and stigma that are commonly and still heavily attach to single mothers in Indonesia. We wish to encourage, assist, and inspire all Indonesian single mothers to rebuild their lives and to thrive as mothers also as individuals. Our Visions: To empower Indonesian single mother to build a happy family, rebuild their self-confidence and to achieve success in life. Our Missions: - To empower single mothers and their children by providing hope, support, and resources so families can become self-sustaining and thrive - To slowly erase the negative stigma surrounding the word single moms
