SINGORISON

Singorison is a deep-tech robotics startup from CEG, Anna University, where we develop robotic solutions focusing on the eradication of manual scavenging . We got the inspiration from the Safaimitra Suraksha Challenge, 2020, to develop a semi-automatic robotic solution that ensures zero manual intervention in the process of cleaning the manholes from inside. Unlike the existing robotic solutions, we aim at developing a robot that can clean both horizontal and vertical sewer lines. With the concern of water scarcity all over India, our unit doesn't require water for cleaning. We have developed 3 versions of the product development so far and are currently developing the 4th one. We were appreciated by the Honourable Finance Minister of Tamilnadu, Thiru Palanivel Thiagarajan. We also won many competitions and pitch fests like Idea Crunch by AUSEC, IVP by EDII-TN,etc.. We won at Technovation, conducted by CTF, Anna University, for two consecutive years. Our first product, ScavengeX is under development in the MVP stage with the support of professors like Dr. R. Saravanan, Director of CED, Anna University. This product is expected to work on various dimensions and shapes of manholes, based on the field survey we did in many parts of India.
