As a photovoltaic specialist, the portfolio includes various types of photovoltaic systems: • Roof-mounted photovoltaics • Ground-mounted / Agri-photovoltaics • Specialized photovoltaic solutions (such as conveyor belt photovoltaic systems and fence-mounted photovoltaics) • Floating photovoltaic platforms which are used in applications like artificial lakes (e.g., gravel pits), marine bays, dams, and offshore/nearshore areas. The company was founded in 2014 by Dr.-Ing. Philipp Sinn. Over the years, SINN Power has become a leading player in the renewable energy sector, specializing in custom-built photovoltaic solutions; with a presence across Europe and the headquarters located in Gauting, Bavaria-Germany. Additionally, a research and development station for floating PV systems specifically designed for offshore applications is operated in Heraklion, Crete-Greece.
