About SINTEG Systems

SINTEG Systems is a TU Delft spin-off founded in 2023, dedicated to advancing structural integrity assessment and monitoring for composite materials. We develop wireless sensor systems that enable in-situ, real-time, and non-intrusive evaluation of composite structures—without disassembly, destructive testing, or complex procedures. Our technologies address one of the key barriers to the widespread adoption of composites: reliable quality assurance, both after manufacturing and throughout the service life. Traditional non-destructive testing (NDT) methods are often costly, time-consuming, and limited in the insights they provide. SINTEG Systems offers a smarter alternative. By leveraging machine learning for stiffness evaluation and automated defect localization, our solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and easy to integrate into existing workflows. Moreover, our technology can detect damage in adhesive bondlines—eliminating the need for mechanically fastened joints such as riveted bolts. We are currently in the validation phase, working with key industry players to refine our technology. We are actively seeking manufacturing partners and early adopters to help shape the future of composite NDT.
