SIRR - Sustainability, Innovation and Resilience in Rural areas. Partners in the SIRR project, aim to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders and sectors within the local area and the region. Now and in the future, rural and coastal areas will be facing major social, economic, and ecological challenges. We are convinced that tackling them together, collaborating in networks and including diverse voices in the process more likely will lead to success. The Municipality of Sotenäs (Sweden) is Lead Partner on SIRR. Skagen Education Centre (Denmark) is Assisting Lead Partner. Other partners in the project are: * Sweden: University West, Municipality of Lysekil, and HoloHouse - The Sustainability Agency * Denmark: Aarhus University, Læsø Tourist and Business Association, and The Association Stenvad Mosebrug * Germany: University of Vechta ( VISTRA and TrENDi ) * France: Louvigné Du désert, Pays de Lumbres, and AUD Saint-Omer Flandre intérieure SIRR is a transnational project, supported by the Interreg North Sea programme. SIRR runs for five years, with kick-off on October 1st, 2022, and completion on September 30th, 2027. The project has a total budget of EUR 5,659,435.
