SIRVE Engineering

SIRVE S.A. is a Chilean company derived from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, under the auspices of the Directorate of Scientific and Technological Research of the UC (DICTUC). It was founded in 2003 by engineers Carl Lüders and Juan Carlos de La Llera. It is a firm that provides comprehensive solutions for Engineering and Seismic Protection, Consulting, Virtual Design and Construction, Measurements and Testing in the areas of the building, hospitals, mining, industry, energy, infrastructure, and vital lines. A true technological “think-tank”, SIRVE seeks to break paradigms and develop innovative solutions to complex problems, acting as a “bridge” between the academic sector and the productive sector to transfer the most advanced knowledge in seismic protection to the industry of the construction, helping to solve the challenges of structural engineering to improve the behavior of structures in the face of earthquakes and mitigate the enormous human and material damage that they have produced in Chile and the world.
