Our mission is to build sustainable communities, with a primary focus on rural sustainability, both locally and globally. We are FLO certified and carry only Fair Trade, Organic beans.
We have been roasting since 2009, opening our first café in 2014 and our second in 2015. Our cafés, that include two art galleries, serve as both economic and community hubs in the Annapolis Valley. Our fundraising partnerships support local sports and activities throughout Atlantic Canada.

Upon arrival at 1890 Clementsvale Rd, each batch of beans undergoes meticulous observation through the senses. The roaster engages in an intimate relationship with the beans, their eyes, nose, hands, and ears attuned to the nuances of the roasting process. It is a delicate dance of sugars, acids, intuition, and experimentation—a symphony of flavors orchestrated with utmost care.
