Sister Project delivers impact-driven programs that empower women from migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking backgrounds to achieve their personal, social, and economic goals. Founded on the principles of inclusion, dignity, and self-determination, Sister Project supports women as they navigate the challenges of resettlement, build community, and create pathways to independence and success. Our holistic approach focuses on both immediate needs and long-term empowerment. We create spaces where women feel safe, respected and connected, enabling them to rebuild their lives and realise their potential. Our programs include: • Providing a safe and welcoming environment where Members can connect, build friendships, and engage in enjoyable social and physical activities that promote wellbeing and belonging. • Offering tailored English language lessons for women for whom English is a second language, to build confidence and support greater independence in daily life and work. • Delivering access to counselling and emotional support services, helping Members navigate trauma, isolation and major life transitions in a culturally responsive setting. • Creating employment pathways and small business opportunities, including hands on training and real world experience through participation in our own social enterprises. Through these initiatives, we aim to reduce social isolation, improve mental health, and unlock the potential of every woman who walks through our doors.
