Shanghai Inspection and Testing Institute of Instruments and Automation Systems (hereinafter referred to as SITIIAS) was founded in 1960 as a subordinate establishment of Shanghai Institute of Process Automation Instrumentation (hereinafter referred to as SIPAI) and registered as an independent corporation in 2003. SIPAI was founded in 1956, belonging to the first class of scientific research institutes under the former Ministry of Machinery Industry. It has a long history and outstanding performance in technology research, quality inspection, trade service, standardization management etc. of industrial-process measurement and control instruments and systems. NEPSI：National Supervision and Inspection Center for Explosion Protection and Safety of Instrumentation (NEPSI) is: International testing laboratory accredited by IECEx Scheme; Shanghai Inspection and Testing Center of Explosion-proof electrical equipment (with qualification of Class A for Inspection and Testing of National Work Safety) authorized by China State Administration of Work Safety; and the designated certification body and laboratory for compulsory product certification (CCC) of explosion-proof electrical products.
