The Sitrex range was originally imported into New Zealand by Paddon Direct in 1993, Paddon Direct was acquired by Rata Industries Group (now known as Rata Equipment) in 2012 under which the Sitrex brand has grown to become a well known name across New Zealand farms, this lead to the decision being made to market this machinery under its own brand name which has lead to the creation of 'Sitrex Equipment' in New Zealand.
