Co-founded by Dr. and Mrs. Matthew Sharritt, Situated Research is dedicated to exploring how technology can become more accessible and aims to help software designers innovate ways to communicate with and engage their customers and end-users. Our "situated" approach means that we study the entire environment in which cognitive and social interactions occur. Situated Research was established to improve the user experience of interacting with software interfaces and technology, by connecting companies with the needs of their end-users. We focus on creating engaging learning technologies, highly-usable software interfaces, interactive websites and immersive video games. Our open-ended approach allows us to discover what your end-users expect as they interact with your designed technology. By incorporating this vital information into your design process, you can help your end-users achieve their goals and motivations efficiently while avoiding pitfalls and reducing errors. We take an open-ended approach that allows us to observe your users while acting in their natural environment. This allows us to obtain information that is highly relevant to your users while avoiding a typical experimental approach, which tests predetermined hypothetical outcomes. In other words, we are very good listeners, whose insight will give you traction with which to communicate to your customer base.
