SITUATIONIST is committed to craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless design. Founded on the principles of quality and meticulous attention to detail, the brand embraces a unique approach to garment-making that prioritizes artistry over mass production. One of the most important things that defines SITUATIONIST is the team devoted to the process of making clothes. The time, energy, and effort spent on each garment provide the highest quality items that can be worn and kept for decades. Since all the production is done in-house, we have the opportunity to completely supervise this process. There is no mass production done in our atelier. Each garment created at the atelier in Tbilisi is unique and signed by the seamstress who worked on it. Sustainability has always been a big concern in our method of production. Most of the fabrics used are purchased from Italian dead-stock, and the exact amount needed is ordered to limit waste as much as possible. Founded in 2016 in Tbilisi, Georgia, the brand emerged from a collective vision fueled by a shared desire to challenge conventions and explore new forms of expression. While conceived as a collaborative effort, Irakli Rusadze is the lead designer.
