Situgen Med Ltd developed two innovative and breakthrough medical devices to collect Umbilical Cord Blood during delivery. The Patented SG1040TM novel device increases the collected volume by 81%, almost doubles the TNC from 8.3 X 10^8 to 15.1 X 10^8 and reducing the discard rate from 36% to just 7%. That's an effective, reproducible, cost-effective, fully sterile and not contaminated method to increase the quality of Cord Blood and the number of Stem Cells extracted. The SG1040TM is a disposable, comprehensive, all-inclusive kit for CBSC collection, designed to solve the problem of blood quantity and maximize the volume of UCB and the quality of Stem Cells extracted. The SituGen novel device is needle-free, relieving the “bottleneck” affect created due to a needle. The SituGen device is fully disinfected and sterilized according to the requirements for all blood collection devices. The Patent Pending SG2025TM adds 31% in volume, has CE mark and will be available in 2017.
