Siza was founded in 2020 by entrepreneurs, doctors and scientists who had this idea that health access is a right not a privilege. The only way that could happen, the founders felt it is through telehealth in order to democratise access. Siza aims to provide individual patients or the would-be patients with on-demand, online care for common illnesses and injuries. Our mission is to deliver quick, affordable and convenient access to medical care online and nationwide tailored for local people. Having seen what the need for doctors in many rural, semi-rural and urban areas was, we realised that it would be easy and cost effective for people to contact doctors through telemedicine. We needed to create a platform where everyone has the opportunity to diagnose themselves and access the best healthcare providers regardless of social or economic status. This will allow patients everywhere access to first-in-class care from the comfort of their homes. We wanted to make telehealth mainstream solution to the lack of medical professionals in certain areas and parts of the world and create a 21st century company that is respected, innovative, friendly and reputable.
